Might (US-Turalyon) was the first guild to complete A Tribute to Immortality on US realms, 3 weeks after Ensidia’s World First. Congratulations to them!

To commemorate these milestones, we’ve just launched the Warcraft anniversary website. There you’ll find video interviews featuring personal anecdotes from some of the shapers of Warcraft, as well as the Battlecry Mosaic where you can show off your faction pride. Visit the anniversary site now!

In Cataclysm, we plan to make the old PvP titles available based on your performance in our upcoming rated Battleground system, similar to the current Arena titles which are based on your performance in the Arenas. Keep in mind, however, that Cataclysm is still relatively early in the development stages and this information is subject to change. We’ll have more on the rated Battleground system and associated rewards in the months ahead.
[...] I’m going to clarify my original post, as I don’t believe it’s been decided yet whether they’ll be purchased with Arena points or Honor points, or if a specific Battleground rating is the only requirement to unlock them. There are no plans to make these titles available for real-world money.
[...] We feel they’re going to fit well with the new rated Battleground system. The titles were previously earned through a very cumbersome experience that didn’t necessarily measure a player’s PvP skill. With a new system for measuring performance in the Battlegrounds, we feel it’s a good fit to award the honor titles to those who excel. We do not intend for the top titles to be earned in a trivial manner. It’s going to be quite hard to get High Warlord or Grand Marshal; and not because it’s going to require that someone plays in the Battlegrounds more than everyone else on their realm each week, but because it’s going to require a very impressive win/loss ratio. Rated Battlegrounds and Arena Points in Cataclysm
The current plan is still for rated Battlegrounds to grant Arena points, though some rewards will require a certain rating from this system just as with the current Arena system. (Source)
There was a few posts about it on the forums during the past week and I’ll assume it’s worth a front page news. On taiwanese servers, 小灰 from the guild 神樣 (TW-Wrathbringer) succesfully completed all achievements in the game and is the first player to reach 986/986 achievements completed on the armory.
Technically he’s still missing BB King (added with Patch 3.2.2) and his World Events achievements are down to 138/139 because of that, luckily a bug with an old PvP achievement gives him 165/164, that’s how he got 986/986. The achievement count obviously doesn’t take Feats of Strength into account because it’s technically impossible to get all of them. (Well I guess you could race change to compete for the first level 80 undead/tauren/troll/orc/blood elf on the same character but I don’t think you’ll get all of them)
I could have waited until he gets his last achievement to report it but Patch 3.3 will probably (=99% chance) be deployed on live servers before he has a chance to do it. It would be a shame to not talk about it just because of that, and if you ever wondered if it’s possible to complete all the achievements in the game you have your answer now: yes you can, it’s just going to take a lot of dedication.
As you probably know, the Dreamhack Winter 2009 was held in Jönköping this week and people could play Cataclysm here. I never had a chance to post in-game footage of Cataclysm in the past and I thought it was a good occasion to do it since “someone” was nice enough to provide decent footage with a decent (=not too awful) quality, thanks to him/her/it.

As long as nothing goes wrong, it should be deployed on live servers next week. (Not official, etc etc)
Patch 3.3 Menu Update

World 3rd Tribute to Immortality in Korea
Tribute to Immortality first kills are fun, each new kill happens on a new continent. This time a Korean coalition of multiple guilds known as “Team Force” completed the achievement on November 30th according to this post! Congratulations to them.
